Texas (November 15, 2004) - Trowbridge Group (TG),

today announced the addition of three new, sourcing solution
experts. Outsourcing industry experts Pete Roman, Larry
Gaulin, and Al Kruml bring further depth to the TG team.
Their diverse backgrounds and years of experience serve
to expand the resources and capabilities of the Trowbridge
Group.
Pete
Roman is a highly experienced executive with over
twenty years of expertise within a Big Five consulting firm.
He has worked extensively within Communications, Transportation,
and Health Services organizations utilizing his broad business
background and deep operational and delivery skills. His
expert leadership includes general management, leading organizations
and architecting Information Technology and Business Process
outsourcing solutions.
Prior to joining
the Trowbridge Group, Pete was a Senior Principal at CGI-AMS,
one of the largest independent IT and BPO companies in the
world with 25,000 professionals and $3 billion in revenue.
Key accomplishments include streamlining a large telecommunications
company by leading a team through the development of a business
process outsourcing and system integration proposal where
the client achieved a net cost savings of $50 million over
a five-year contract.
Before CGI-AMS,
Pete, as an Associate Partner at Accenture, held various
leadership roles including: Solution Architect, where he
negotiated client contract provisions for a five-year, $400
million call center contract involving over 1000 existing
positions; Service Operations Director responsible for P&L
for 16 contracts in North American products companies, with
annual revenues of $150 million; Operations Delivery Executive
for a ten-year, $850 million IT outsourcing contract with
Ryder, Inc.; and Transition Leadership, where he led the
planning and implementation to transition 300 Accenture
HR resources to a joint venture with British Telecom providing
Human Resources outsourcing services in the Business Processing
Outsourcing marketplace.
Larry
Gaulin has nearly two decades of successful management
and delivery experience with information technology services
in both established and entrepreneurial organizations. Before
joining Trowbridge Group, he was a Senior Account Manager
with Ernst & Young’s Global Operate outsourcing
services team. As one of the founding members of the new
outsourcing services line, his strategic project management
skills were a significant contribution in growing the practice
to more than $1 billion in yearly total contract sales and
over $400 million in annual revenue in seven years. His
major contributions included: on-site Account Manager for
a BPO Joint Venture located in Hong Kong for a major retail
company, leading the large scale due diligence effort for
a $1.2 billion transaction with one of the largest power
generators in North America, and lead Account Executive
responsible for management of a $24 million long-term outsourcing
deal with a food additives company.
Prior to Ernst
& Young, Larry worked at EDS where he began his career
in Operations Support, excelling through the technical and
project lead ranks to Account Management. He gained extensive
experience with EDS in large-scale project management during
his 12-year tenure with expansive technical experience from
multiple roles including programming, systems administration,
and implementation of mid-range computer systems.
Al
Kruml joins the Trowbridge Group with leadership
experience that covers over 13 years as an IT executive
within the planning, and delivery of effective IT solutions.
He has worked in diverse business environments, including
Fortune 200 corporations, Big 4 consulting and start-ups.
He led the outsourcing of customer service and directed
the efforts to improve internal controls for AirGate PCS,
a Sprint PCS affiliate, providing wireless services under
the Sprint Brand in the Carolinas and Eastern Georgia with
370,000 customers.
Prior to AirGate,
Al managed key IT engagements for Winbourne & Costas,
Inc. a Washington D.C. based management consulting firm
focused on E-government solutions. His key accomplishments
include the creation of an Emergency Operations Plan for
the City of Philadelphia and Washington D.C.’s WASA,
as well as the design of a command center for the DC Emergency
Management Agency.
Before Winbourne
& Costas, Inc., Al was the CIO of Landmark Graphics,
global Integrated Software and Consulting Services Company
acquired by Halliburton in 1996. He directed all aspects
of business IT strategy, planning, and operations for the
worldwide company as it grew from $100M to $500M.
As a Senior
Manager at Ernst & Young, Al directed the pursuit, oversight
and execution of IT consulting services. His key engagements
included managing a development team to implement strategic
IT applications for a major Chicago bank, and managing the
project to outsource the helpdesk/desktop support services
for a major airline reservation company with over 10,000
travel agency customers.
